I offer fun, engaging lessons ensuring that the child always feels successful and wants to go home and play the piano.

Pupils are encouraged to be creative in their music making and duet playing is an important part of early piano lessons.

Reading music and technical skills are introduced along the way.

Pupils are usually given a certain amount of homework to do at the piano to reinforce what was covered in the lesson.

I am well experienced in preparing children for grade exams but realise that this approach does not suit everyone. My aim is to help each individual child acquire a love for music and a desire to continue playing the piano for pleasure for the rest of their lives.
